Robert D. Wald, MD retired December of 2013. We miss his acerbic wit, his amazing clinical clarity, and his quiet presence and vast wisdom. He still offers his insight on special cases from time to time, and is brought in to consult.

Dr. Wald was awarded a medal of service for his fifty years of work in psychiatry by the Alaska Psychiatric Association in 2013.

His insight into pediatric psychiatry and his long history in traditional psycho-therapy has added a wonderful facet to our group.

Dr. Wald was a past president of the Alaska Psychiatric Association.
