Carlyn Larsen, LPC

Carlyn graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her undergraduate schooling was in dance, which is a field she has been involved in most of her life both as a dancer and a teacher. She uses the information she learned from her dance training as well as her psychological training when she works with clients.
Carlyn's work reflects the belief that the connection between the mind and body is an important piece of being healthy and feeling good about oneself. She uses various therapy techniques during sessions, and have been trained in EMDR as well as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
Carlyn sees adults and adolescents with varying issues, but is particularly interested in working with individuals that have a trauma history and women’s issues.
