Andrea Siegfried, ANP
Andrea is a lifelong Alaskan who, since 2003, has committed her nursing career to working with Alaskans struggling with behavioral health issues in various acute care settings such as detox, inpatient mental health units, ECT, and emergency psychiatry.
As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Andrea provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and trauma.
Andrea encourages her clients to view her as someone to help guide them along their path to healing and wellness. She views every client as a unique individual, with distinct experiences, thoughts and emotions that need to be heard and acknowledged when working together to formulate a customized, holistic treatment plan.
Andrea is integrative in her approach, with the belief that psychiatric medications can be an effective tool, but are often only one part of the solution in working to achieve an ongoing, more manageable and fulfilling life. The other elements of the solution may include, but are not limited to psychotherapy, body/mind work, supplements, nutrition, sleep hygiene, movement therapies, and essential oils.
